How to apply for admission In Institute
All the candidates , desirous to take admission in the course may obtain a copy of the prospectus containing application form against cash payment of Rs.200/- in from institute counter or by sanding demand draft of Rs.250/- in favor of dashmesh Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences, Jandwala payable at Giddarwaha. Application must be made on the prescribed form available in the prospectus only. Application complete in all respect may be sent under registered AD cover to Principal Dashmesh Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Sciences,Jandwala(Malout) or in person at the institute's counter during office working Hours. Complete application accompanying the documents mentioned in check list, duly attested by a gazetted officer, must reach in institute before last date laid down by PNRC. The students must have to submit their original certificates of metric and 10+2 at the time of admission and these certificates will remain with the institute until their course is completed.
Eligibility Conditions
1. Age:: The candidate shall be 17 years or more on and 35 years or less . However there will be no age limit for candidates (Promotes) Applying through proper channel, who are already in Govt. Service.
2. Minimum Qualification :: Shall be 12 years of schooling (10+2) or its equivalent with 45 % Marks (40% marks for SC/ST Candidates) Candidates applying in promotes should be registered ANM  with State Nurses Registration Council & Must be passed 10+2 or its equivalent.
3. Residence status  :: Performance will be given to the candidate who are residents of Punjab.
4. medical :: The candidates should be medically fit.
5. Preference :: shall be given to those students who have passed their 10+2 or its equivalent with science subjects i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Maths.
Method Of Selection
After screening of application forms by the admission committee, Merit list will be prepared, which will be displayed on institute's notice board on next day of last date. the eligible candidates will also be intimated by regd. Post  they will be called for interview before the admission committee of the institute.
Duration Of The Course:
The duration of General Nursing & Midwifery is 3-1/2 years and after this diploma course, students must get themselves registered with state nursing registration council as per their rules & regulations.

The tentative Fee Structure will be as follow:

Note
1. The fee structure is subject to approval by the Govt. of Punjab & may be revised at any time.
2. Students selected shall be required to deposit their fee on the same day, after declaration of the final selection list, otherwise the seat will be given to the next candidate on waiting list.

3. students will have to pay for their uniform & books Separately.
4.Tution fee, Hostel & other monthly charges is to be paid till 7th day of every month. Late fee of Rs.25/- per day will be charged after 7th day of the month.
5. If monthly charges is not paid within a month the name of the student will be struck off the rolls automatically & readmission fee of Rs. 2000/- shall be charged in addition to late fee.
6. fee & other charges once paid are not refundable in full or part on any account whatsoever.
7.If a student fails to take examination for any reason . The institute will not entertain any claim of refund of fee.
8. the Fee does not include Examination fee & other examination related expenses..

Examination Fee & Other Expenses
The students will be it self responsible for the submission of their examination fee & other examination related expenses i.e. Traveling fee & accommodation exp. during their examination on at level of state council.

Uniform
The following uniform is compulsory for the students during their training course.
1. Sea-green Suits (Simple Salwar & Kameez)
2. Black Shoes with White Socks.
3. Nurses must tie-up their hairs and covered with net.
4. Black Sweaters are to be wear on duty in winters.
5.No jewellery is allowed with uniform.

Eligibility for admission to final examination
To be eligible for admission to annual examination, the students should have:
(a) Attendance of the tutorials, practical & field work for each papers must not less than 75 %.
(b) Must have completed the practical training requirements.
(c) Must present her record of practical experience, duty completed and signed by the principle.
(d) Must have pursued a regular course of studies for a minimum period of 11 months in a year.
(e) Must have met the field experience requirements. Curricular plan and scheme of examination mentioned by INC, Delhi)

Leave
Annual Leave: 30 days , absence or any other than medical leave will be deducted from annual leaves.
Medical Leave : 10 days , only on recommendation of medical office.
Preparatory Leaves: 7 days prior to Examinations.

Non-Disciplinary Acts:
The students , indulged in the following activities, will attract disciplinary action against them.
1. Not attending classes or not appearing in examination & tests.
2.Non obedience with rules of the institute /hostel.
3. Creating Nuisance , disturbance, misbehavior in the Campus/hostel.
4.Destroying/mishandling with facilities, equipments, infrastructure or any other property of the institute.
5. Ragging/fighting/ enrolling/teasing with each other.
6. Non-ethical and pessimistically unsohphicated & Uncivilized behavior.
7. Anything , which effects career, growth & image of self/ others & that of the institute.
Being Indulged , may attract serious disciplinary action , which includes fine, expulsion or both as decided by disciplinary committee, management or principal.

Check-List
Application must accompany following documents , duly attested by a gazetted officer:-

1. Copy of Matriculation Certificate showing date of birth.

2. Copy of  DMC of passing 10+2 exam.

3. Copy of character certificate from the school/institute last attended.

4. Copy of Domicile/residence Certificate.

5. Copy of SC/ST/BC certificate from the tehsildar (if applicable)

6. Copy of legal document in case of widow or divorcee.

7. Eight recent colored passport size photographs.

8. For promotes , certified copy of ANM certificate along with registration number.

9. List of visitors, along with two colored passport size photographs for the hostel residing candidates.
